3–9 NOVEMBER ORGAN TRANSPLANTATION AND DONATION WEEK
Our Foundation Comes Together for Social Awareness During Organ Transplantation Week
As part of Organ Transplant Week, 3–9 November, our foundation organised a special event to highlight the importance of organ donation and raise awareness in society. The programme, attended by our Board Chairperson Müjgan Özer and participants, attracted attention with its informative content and interactive structure.
Ms Funda Günaydın, Organ Donation Hospital Coordinator at Eskişehir City Hospital, provided comprehensive information on the vital importance of organ donation. She discussed the donation process, the necessary medical conditions, and the critical role of voluntariness with participants in a question-and-answer format. Although we were able to gather with a limited number of participants due to the capacity of our venue, the level of awareness created was quite high.
After the event, participants stated that their awareness of organ transplantation had increased and that they had gained a better understanding of the importance of contributing to social awareness in this area.
With this event, organised on the occasion of Organ Transplant Week, our foundation aimed to create a positive impact on organ donation in society and will continue similar awareness-raising activities.
